Our six-year-old cat Mookie, named after former Red Sox star Mookie Betts, is all personality. He’s friendly, like a dog, but curious, like a cat, which sometimes gets him into trouble.
As soon as I start preparing a meal on the kitchen counter, he comes running in the room, jumps up on his kitchen stool and watches, sometimes not so patiently. He’ll do just about anything for some human food, including giving me a high five (video coming soon).
